Small new issue of shares in the Giant's Causeway full brother

30th Apr 2008

Allan Bloodlines announces that GIANT’S CAUSEWAY’s full brother TIGER DANCE (Storm Cat – Mariah’s Storm by Rahy) and Champion 2yo and Classic placed SECOND EMPIRE (Fairy King – Welsh Love by Ela Mana Mou) will stand at Arc En Ciel Stud near Wellington in the Western Cape from the 2008 South Africa breeding season onwards in a new long term arrangement.

In the growing South Africa bloodstock market, there is a new share opportunity in TIGER DANCE through an issue of five shares for international ownership at the local price of R 130,000 (approx £8,750) + VAT. Shareholders would join a number of excellent South African breeders and Oaklands Estate, retaining a large block of shares. Oaklands, where the stallions stood last year, is being redeveloped but its owners the Timms family are remaining fully involved in the industry, and now extend their history of cooperation with Arc En Ciel.

Allan Bloodlines is the Syndicate Manager and will attend the upcoming broodmare sales in May where mares can be purchased to send to either stallion and mares in foal to both are on offer following their very good books of mares. TIGER DANCE is all potential, domestic and international, and SECOND EMPIRE is now established with Stakes winners around the world and a good start with his first 2yos in South Africa.

The beautiful Arc En Ciel property is also the home of NYSAEAN (Sadler’s Wells – Irish Arms by Irish River), Gr.3 and Listed winner in Ireland and France who has his first yearlings as well as established local sires TARA’S HALLS (Fairy King – Habella by Habitat) and the ageing CORDOBA (El Gran Senor – Gay Senorita by Raise A Native). “We have worked closely with Craig Carey at Arc En Ciel for some years as has Paul Timms and are very much looking forward to taking these stallions forward in exciting careers,” said David Allan. “This is an excellent formula”.
