YEARLING PRICES FROM £7,000 AND UP IN SOUTH AFRICA

"The Best Value Bloodstock in the World"

24th Mar 2009

“The best value bloodstock in the World”, say an increasing number of yearling buyers for racing both in South Africa and internationally.

Race first in South Africa at extremely reasonable cost. Pre-training at around £200 pm then full training £400-450. Pay for about five months if winning a maiden!!

And if special, follow in the footsteps of VICTORY MOON, SUN CLASSIQUE, JAY PEG, ASIATIC BOY and many many others, winning world class races in Dubai, Europe and the Far East. Or focus on the excitement of Racing in Cape Town, Durban or Johannesburg.

South Africa’s Premier Yearling Sale is the Emperors Palace National Yearling Sale (596 lots catalogued) 3rd – 6th April with AllanBloodlines' inspections commencing 31st March, having already seen a number of drafts on the farms.

Allan Bloodlines has been a leading overseas yearling purchaser at this sale for a number of years. This time last year we bought ranging from R 100-300,000 (approx £7,000 – 20,000) to the joint-sale topper, an internationally well bred filly, at R 3,000,000 (approx £215,000). VAT to be added and claimed back if appropriate. The market will be softer this year, and the catalogue is excellent.

Allan's overall record in South African racing is 72% winners to selections, 96% placed and a number of 2 year olds are about to help improve on that pretty fair strike rate! AllanBloodlines provides continuous racing management and communication for those requiring it (from UK and Cape Town offices), whether as individual owners or in partnerships.

The catalogue is available on line on www.tba.co.za

Please let us know if we can be of assistance in this African adventure.
