KAZAKHSTAN SUCCESS CONTINUES WITH ANOTHER CLASSIC

Latest Allan purchases warm up for another good season

8th Jun 2009

Success for Allan Bloodlines'

Kazakhstan clients continued apace in the early Gr.1 races in that country. 3 year old ex Ed Dunlop filly TOLL ROAD fulfilled the promise that seemed to be there at Tattersalls February Sale when winning the 1,000 Guineas equivalent in Almaty last week.

On the same day, ORMONDE, a 2 year old daughter of an Allan purchased local champion won a 5 furlong maiden in a new track record beating several imports. This filly is by Allan export IN COMMAND, a Dewhurst Stakes winning Sadler's Wells half brother to Royal Applause.

Meanwhile, a previously unraced 3yo from Juddmonte ZAMENHOFwith difficult feet and said to make a noise now has good feet and no noise and finished 3rd in the 2,000 Guineas equivalent, aiming for a run in the Kazakhstan Derby in July.

Another Group 1 - The Kazakh Mile - was taken by 2007 purchase EVER HOPEFUL, by Noverre, with another early 2008 purchase MORE THAN CARMA, by More Than Ready, 2nd. Both fillies were very successful in 2008 along with FUTUNE who will be targeted at top older horse races.

SILENT WONDER, by Diktat, ran 2nd first time out in a 7 furlong maiden.

For the 5th year running, clients and friends of Allan Bloodlines in Almaty have won classics and broken track records. The Oaks and Derby equivalents follow in July with the valuable President's Cup later.
