RANDOM AL WINS AT FLAMINGO PARK BY NEARLY 4 LENGTHS (VIDEO LINK)

Nomadic Captain Al gelding gets his mother off the mark

15th Sep 2013

Yessssss!  RANDOM AL (Captain Al - Random Call by War Chant)wins at Flamingo Park by 3.75 lengths over 1000 metres (bit of a surprise, the trip, but the winning margin very emphatic) for trainer Jaap Visser, rider Muzi Yeni and Mr Alesh Maidoo\'s syndicate.

Bred by David Allan, this fellow has been all over the place and may have found somewhere to settle.  Sold at the National Yearling Sales to Mr Markus Jooste, RANDOM AL went first to Peter Harris then to his son Sean, both of whom tragically passed away.  Charles Laird had the horse and did not geld him, but as soon as he was purchased to go to James Goodman, RANDOM AL was gelded and has settled down.  Now in Kimberley, he has scored!

He is RANDOM CALL's first foal, her second being a lovely ELUSIVE FORT filly who sadly died in pre-training, and her third a JAY PEG filly.  She is in foal to ORACY and will probably visit ALADO.
